OR anyone who might take an interest in such things, a general update:
I have been eating PURE. CRAP. all this Christmas season. But I'm not letting it worry me. True, I'll have to cross some of the same ground a second time when I get back from vacation and gear up the South Beach eating plan, but surprisingly I haven't gained tons of weight on this trip (yes, I've been checking). It will be fine.
Also, I'm trying to remember how I feel right now -- frankly, a bit sick from overindulging in too much of the wrong kind of food. It's tasty going down, but I don't feel healthy from day to day. I'd prefer both tasty and healthy, which is what I usually get on SB.
Off to consume Mom's lentil soup and random leftovers.
