All right, I'll freely admit it. I'm a pop culture geek. My particular vice is Harry Potter. But there are several other people in my family who are Star Wars geeks.
For them and others like them, I made these:
Geeky Lego Star Wars goodness, all on display in my Etsy store! Whee! Now my sister in law wants me to make her Lego Stormtrooper earrings. I'm not sure I should be encouraged to continue creating along these lines, but it's been fun.
What's next? I'm considering doing this for the LOTR fans:
AND MY AXE!
I'm such a dweeb.

Huzzah! Here's to geekiness.
Have you been by the blog before? If not, welcome! If so, congratulations on de-lurking. :)
Whaddya think, would Stormtrooper earrings be too much? I'm hesitating over those because they're full-sized Lego minifigures and I'm a little concerned whether they'd be comfortable to wear.
SW, HP, and LOTR? I see millions in your future! :)
These are SOOOO cute! How heavy are they?
Marie: Actually, the ones I've made to date aren't too heavy at all. Yoda is about a head shorter than the other Lego minifigures, so each Yoda earring weighs about 3 grams. Artoo earrings are about 4 grams each. I'm not sure about the weight of the full-size minifigures, but I'm guessing about 5 grams or so--say the weight of 5 raisins.
Carrie: ah, if only!
I hadn't seen your LOTRs ones. Ha! Love it.
