Well, we're back...

...and we're bigger than a breadbox! (Substitute "bigger than a microwave" if you have no idea what a breadbox is.)

Seattle was Seattlicious, as always. I never seem to be able to spend all the time I'd like there at one go. Maybe one day in the near future I'll play hooky from all life's responsibilities and just go for hours and hours. For today, though, we did have a good time goofing around in the Market. Wandered around, talked to many people, listened to lots of good live music, had a nosh or two, took in the sight and scent of huge yellow-orange bouquets of daffodils and tulips... and Miss V spent some quality time browsing in Golden Age Collectibles, which makes her happy. (Manga section, Batman figurines, and some Alice in Wonderland posters--it's like a one-stop shopping mecca for the V girl.)

Our day of departure approaches rapidly. Time to finalize some plans... and to try to figure out what would make a good hostess gift for our homestay.
