Wabbit season!

Ah, Spring.

When a young rabbit's fancy turns to thoughts of mating.

This fine fellow just wasn't taking no for an answer...

...despite numerous and emphatic rebuffs from his chosen doe.

Captain Midnight (who took these pictures) said this little mating dance was very hard to photograph because the buck kept sneaking up to the doe, attempting to leap at her, then skittering away when she batted at him with her front paws.

Meanwhile, the wily Miss V decided she would use her cunning to sneak up on the wild bunnies.

She didn't have much success, but she did have a lot of fun trying.
