Captain Midnight has been down with a woozy head and unhappy tum for a couple of days. Today he went back to work. I'm sure it'll be a while until he is back to boldly coding where no geek has coded before, but I'm glad he feels better.
During his convalescence, CM spent a lot of time in bed doing two things: re-reading
Kiln People by David Brin, and watching the Black Adder series on DVD. My favorite randomly picked dialogue from this series, culled from
Blackadder's Christmas Carol:
Prince George: What can I possibly do with a girl that I can't do with you, eh?
Blackadder: I cannot conceive, Sir.
Miss V is on the phone with a friend right now, imitating her now-deceased guinea pig Ruby. This involves making little supersonic squeaks of "Wheeet wheeeet wheeet." She is a silly girl, but fun.

Not this year, although Miss V is flying back. We are saving vacation days to go at Christmastime.
